A New Snow Day Activity: Ice Baths In Lebanon’s Mountains

There is so much more to snow days than skiing in Faraya and driving through the beautiful corniche in Sawfar. This Lebanese woman, Léa Dahrouge, an extreme sports addict and avid adventurer, just introduced us to ice baths – and we’re definitely up for the challenge!

Léa visited gorgeous Lebanese sites heavily covered in snow and found the perfect spots for ice baths: little frozen ponds and lakes!

Dahrouj discussed the benefits of cold therapy, including a faster metabolism and a better immune response. And it beats the same old ski day in Faraya. What more could you ask for?

We recommend dropping by Qanat Bakish for this one. Views, frozen ponds, white mountains – the perfect recipe for an amazing day out!

Spending a day with gorgeous views and snow-covered mountains is one of our favourite things to do this time of year. For our adventurers, this is a new activity to add to your bucket list before the snow melts in Lebanon!

Please note that you should not be spending too much time in the cold after an ice bath. Always check with your physician before attempting extreme sports like this.
