Lebanese Twitter Reacts To Possible Sanctions On Riad Salame
According to Bloomberg, the United States administration is currently considering the possibility to imposing sanctions on Lebanon’s Central Bank governor, Riad Salame.
Bloomberg details the nature of the sanctions as possible being “focused on the possibility of freezing Salameh’s overseas assets and enacting measures that would curtail his ability to do business abroad”.

It’s not the Americans who are protecting Riad salameh, it’s the Lebanese politicians. And they are protecting him not because they like him, but because they have zero clue about how money works and because he knows where all the bones are buried..
