President Hosts Annual Event This Friday At Beirut Port

For his annual conference with the International Lion’s Club, President Michel Aoun has decided to host this year’s event at the Beirut Port.

It has been reported yesterday night that the stage has been placed at the scene, surrounded by remnants of the August 4 blast, that killed more than 200 people and injured over 700.

Families of the blast victim did not stay silent after the news was shared, as they took over the streets yesterday night, denouncing this decision that is nothing but a sign of ruthlessness. A few calls have been placed for a protest today, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
