Lebanese-American Doctor Develops New Tool To Detect Heart Failure In Fetuses

Some good news this Wednesday morning!

A brand new tool that detects congenital heart disease in fetuses was recently developed by Dr. Rima Arnaout, a Lebanese-American physician and cardiologist at the Biohub Scientific Center in San Fransisco.

With the help of artificial intelligence, Dr. Arnaout and her team made it possible to monitor ultrasounds in the second trimester of pregnant women and determine whether the fetus had developed any sort of heart failure.

CZ Biohub founder and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg congratulated the team in his recent status, stating that this brand new creation is 96% accurate in comparison to the current approaches that are as low as approximately 30%.

Congratulation to Dr. Arnaout!
