Young Man Found Almost A Year After August 4 Blast
A year ago, Ibrahim Raad’s family sat in their homes in the city of Tripoli watching the horrifying events of August 4 unravel all over the news. They waited weeks to hear from their son Ibrahim, who had dropped out of school and sought work in Beirut amidst the economic crisis.
Without a missing persons list from the government, locating Ibrahim and other victims who went missing after the blast was very difficult. However, nearly a year later, the young man was finally spotted in Beirut by his friends.
It was reported that Ibrahim had lost contact with his family after moving to Beirut for work, and he also did not have a phone, which made it harder to reach him. Nevertheless, this is some wonderful news during such hard times.
