Here Are The Protests Happening For August 4

As we approach the one year mark of the devastating August 4 explosion, here are all the protests that are planned in honor of the victims, and in demand of justice.


Tuesday, August 3rd:

In front of the Ministry of Justice

Time: 6:00 PM.



Across Lebanon

Regions: Bcharre, Halba, Trablos Jounieh, Beirut, Hammana, Baakline, Saida, Sour, Nabatiyeh, Hasabya, Marje’un, Zahle, and Baalbek.

Time: 6:00 PM



Aley Square Vigil

Time: 7:00 PM




Wednesday, August 4th:

Student march from Universite Saint Joseph (USJ) towards the Beirut Port

Time: 2:00 PM



Beirut Port March

Time: 3:00 PM

Meeting Points:

– Sassine Square
– Beirut Fire Brigade, Karatina
– Saint George

5:00 PM: Arrival at the Lebanese Emigrant Statue, followed by a few words from the victim’s families.

6:07 PM: Moment of silence, followed by a march to the Lebanese Parliament.
