Massive Fire Erupts in Akkar
A massive fire has broken out in the Andaket – Oudine Valley in the Akkar district.
The fire is currently spreading in the pine tree forest in the area. Citizens are working with Civil Defense units to put the flames out to no avail, and they are calling for more help.
Back in July, the Qobayat region of Akkar witnessed some of the most devastating fires in its history which wiped out nearly 20,000 square meters of olive groves and oak trees in the villages.
