Is there a specific committee dedicated to coming up with wild ways for the Lebanese state to generate income? Well, they’ve done it again – and this time they have come up with a way to make cash that appeals to the very worst of us.
Want to roll up to the club and have everyone wondering, “wow, I wonder who this asshole is…”? Well, the state has got you covered. For a mere 45 MILLION LEBANESE LIRA, you can be the proud owner of the license plate 222 M.
Does that feel like a bit much? Maybe you’re more down to Earth than that. Please whip out 27 million Lebanese Lira and cough up to get the plate 5000 M. The 5000 probably refers to the number of people you abuse on the daily.
Now, for those of you who are very down to Earth and are not as showy, we bring to you plate number 100000 – Y. Imagine having a six digit license plate. How poor and gauche. Anyway for a mere 13.5 million Lebanese Lira – it’s all yours.
