Reactions To Saad Hariri Suspending His Political Career
Just moments ago, during a televised speech, former PM Saad Hariri tearfully announced that he was withdrawing from political life in Lebanon and that he, along with his political party (Future Movement), would not be participating in the upcoming parliamentary elections. Hariri cited the many “sacrifices” he had to make in order to maintain the peace as key reasons as to why he was unsuccessful in creating a better life for the Lebanese people.
