Premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival where it was awarded the NETPAC Award, 1982 is wartime drama taking place during the 1982 Beirut invasion. Starring Nadine Labaki and Mohamad Dalli, the plot is about a little boy who hesitates to express his love for his classmate on their last day of school. It is both heart warming and wrenching at the same time.

This story of seven close friends coming together for dinner and a game of exposing their phone notifications has rocked the Arab region upon its release on January 20.
