Kempinski Hotel Accuses Guest Of Stealing Towels
Bizarre and slightly horrifying, a video circulating on social media shows a guest at Beirut’s lavish Kempinski Hotel being subjected to having his luggage searched in the lobby of the hotel. The reason? Hotel staff accused the guest of stealing a towel.
Someone accompanying the guest managed to capture part of the incident on video, despite the hotel’s objections.
LBCI identified the guest in question as Lebanese businessman Jamal Kaour who had reportedly paid upwards of $600 per night during his stay at the hotel.
