Khattar On The Go: From Pet Taxi Driver to Lebanon’s First Alcohol Vlogger
You might remember him as the Lebanese entrepreneur who launched Petaxi in 2017 – a taxi company offering animal-friendly rides – Khattar Abu Merhi has now decided to put his other passion into work through setting up an alcohol-vlogging YouTube channel in June 2021.
Khattar On The Go came to life in partnership with food photographer and stylist Jean Marc Issa whose camera lens follows Khattar as he fulfills his mission of helping everyone enjoy a more delightful drinking experience.
At the forefront of the channel’s content are tours of special pubs and bars located in villages and cities across Lebanon. Each video features a short interview with the hidden gems’ owners to highlight every detail you might want to know about a pub before visiting it, including the overall vibe, music played, and signature drinks.
Khattar also covers launch events of new alcohol brands/products within the market and provides you with beverage recommendations, drinking tips, tasting reviews, and dynamic insights into fascinating Lebanese wineries and distilleries.
This vlogger’s favorite Sunday activity is passing by a new Lebanese bakeries to grab a mankoushe with his cold beer. He shares this ritual with his Instagram followers under the hashtag #man2oushewbira, sometimes with a spirits-related fun fact.
