11 Stunning Villages And Towns To Visit In Lebanon

Nothing spruces up the weekend quite like discovering a beautiful area in Lebanon! Grab some friends and hit up these 11 stunning villages and towns. We’ve included some things you can do in each, including somewhere to grab a bite.

1. Kobayat

A stunning village in Akkar, North Lebanon, Kobayat is extremely green and serene. Dotted with trees, rivers, and stunning landscapes, this town is ideal for those who want to hike or walk around and immerse themselves in nature. There is also quite a bit of historical tourism from old citadels to a stunning old silk mill.

2. Mazraat Tefeh

A stunning village in Zgharta. Here you’ll find rocky cliffs and gorgeous green escapes. The town also has traditional Lebanese homes, and for those wanting to stay the night Maison Bleue guesthouse is ready to welcome you.

3. Bkassine

The most magical of forests in Lebanon! Located in Jezzine, Bkassine is home to one of the most beautiful pine forests in Lebanon. 4. Zahle

Beautiful old houses, an iconic souk, and magical old hotels. Zahle has got so much to offer and each visit is guaranteed to be different. During the summertime, you can walk along the Berdawni souk where the restaurants, vendors, and ice cream spots will keep you busy for hours. You can also check out the many churches, wineries, and arak producers in this wonderful city.

5. Yahchouch

You all know and love this spot! A beautiful lake, a ton of greenery, and unbeatable views. You can enjoy a scenic hike down the trail. It is not surprising that the lake is known as Jannet Chouwen!

6. Rachaya el Foukhar

A village in Hasbaya in South Lebanon, and just like the name suggests, they are known for being the oldest poetry making village in Lebanon. 8. Kfarakaab
