Check Out The View From Atop Sama Beirut!

Sama Beirut, Lebanon’s tallest building, has quite a thrilling view for people looking for a new angle of our beloved capital. With a height of 195m and 50 floors under its belt, this skyscraper was completed in 2016. The building’s closest height competitor is FourtyFour (185m) in Sin el Fil, closely followed by Sky Gate (181m) in Achrafieh. The country’s fourth tallest building remains the iconic Burj al Murr at 157m and 40 floors.

Sama Beirut took 5 years to construct between 2011 and 2016, and was designed by Elie and Randa Gebrayel. The building was developed and is owned by Fadi Antonios and is envisioned as a residential, commercial and office tower at the heart of Beirut in Sodeco.

Here’s what the view looks like from the top!

@beirut.com Can’t believe i was in Beirut’s highest peak! Located in Sodeco, Sama Beirut stands as the tallest skyscraper in Lebanon. Before the construction of Sama Beirut, Sky Gate briefly held the title of tallest building in Lebanon from 2014-2016. However, this particular category’s champion is Burj al Murr, which remained atop of Lebanon’s sky for close to 40 years after construction work on it paused with the outbreak of the civil war in 1975.

Visitors who make the hike up the tower’s 50 floors (or just take the elevator), will find an incredible view of Beirut from the top. Whether you’re looking to find out how your friends look in ant form, or are just interested in spotting Lebanon’s 7 ugliest buildings, there’s something for you at the top of Sama Beirut.
