Phoenicia Beirut To Reopen Its Doors, Two Years After Devastating Blast

After being closed for nearly two years due to significant damages caused by the August 4 explosion, we were so delighted to hear that Phoenicia Beirut will reopen the doors to its hotel along with all of its services and facilities, including the Phoenicia spa, restaurants, and banquet rooms.

Set to reopen on October 3, 2022, guests and long-time fans of Phoenicia will be warmly welcomed in what we hope is the start of a new era of good things for Lebanon’s businesses. Other hotels in the area, most notably the Le Gray Hotel, Monroe Hotel, Four Seasons Beirut, and The Hilton, remain closed for now.

The Phoenicia Residences will also have an initial reopening on July 1st, 2022, welcoming guests for stays in furnished apartments, offering one-, two-and three-bedroom units, with housekeeping, laundry, 24/7 security, and parking services.

Having been a Beirut icon since 1961, Phoenicia was an instant hit with the world’s most affluent travelers, thanks to its perfect location, luxurious rooms and suites, variety of restaurants and shops, and two swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor.

We are so happy to hear that this wonderful business is returning!
