White people, we love when you visit/move to Beirut and appreciate all the crazy little things about it. Here are x things the w8s LOVE to do when they visit or move to Beirut:
1. Save half their “manooshii” for lunch and dinner.
2. Write a blog post about the enigma that is Beirut.

3. Ask people where they were during the explosion then tear up about it
4. Ask where the nearest bus station is…
5. Write in their leather-bound journals at a local cafe
6. Insist on using “MARHABA, SHOOOOKRAN” in exaggerated accents.
7. Act enthralled when we lose electricity because it’s an ‘authentic experience’
8. Clutch their hands to their chest and bow graciously when they’re handed a shawarma.
