Depositor Takes Over Bankmed In Aley Following Sally Hafiz Incident
After citizens barged into BLOM Bank in Sodeco, led by an armed Sally Hafez who was able to secure $13,000 out of the $20,000 that were being held, the Association of Depositers in Lebanon have reported another bank takeover in Aley’s Bankmed.
According to Lebanon Debate, depositor Rami Sharafeddine threatened the employees at Bankmed before he allegedly claimed his money and fled from the scene.
