SilSal: A Sustainable Design Exhibition In Beirut

FANTASMEEM, a program by the Goethe-Institut Libanon in collaboration with the Diwan of Culture, Design & Innovation presents: SilSal; A sustainable design exhibition. The event will articulate a design exhibition, contemporary performing art- music show, installation arts, discussion forum, culinary design experience, networking for creatives and artistic workshops relative to the cultural and creative community. A three-day program of design, artistic and cultural activities will take place from the 27th – 29th of October at The Ballroom Blitz. SilSal will comprise from creatives participating from Goethe Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq. The exhibition will showcase alternative processes and experiences pushing toward an expansion of the discourses in sustainable design. Reconsidering the approach to technical innovation with an intensive effort on sustainable, dynamic and waste free products. Taking up the theme Future is Wasted. Waste is our Future.
