Ceiling Collapse In Tripoli School Leaves One Dead, One Injured

Tragic news this morning as it was revealed that the ceiling in one of the classrooms at Tripoli’s Evangelical School for Boys and Girls in Zahrieh had collapsed, killing the 16-year old student Maggie Mahmoud and injuring one other.

There have yet to be any further details about the incident, and it remains unclear why the ceiling collapsed in the first place and where the liabilities lie. The school has yet to release any comment on the matter.

A student by the name of Shaza Darwich sustained a spinal injury, and is currently at the hospital.
