Lebanese Designers Wow At The Oscars (As Usual)

Lebanese designers have done it again, making heads turn and jaws drop on the Oscars red carpet and afterparty with their bold and beautiful designs.

Here are the looks that dazzled the 2023 Oscars.

1. Cara Delevigne in Elie Saab

This red number stole the show with its marvelous dimensions. Delevigne’s sleek bun and elegant jewelry made sure that the gown got all the attention it deserved.

2. Eva Longoria in Zuhair Mrad

The actor rocked a classic Zuhair Mrad piece: geometric, structured, and beautifully executed. Less is more? Not for Mrad.

3. Fan Bingbing in Tony Ward

A green dream on the red carpet, this piece had the signature Tony Ward train incorporated into the dress. Completed with emerald green earrings and a bold red lip, Fan Bingbing made heads turn in this masterpiece.

4. Monica Barbaro in Elie Saab

Elie Saab never fails to impress, and this number on Monica Barbaro was giving everything it was supposed to give—simple elegance and sophistication. The soft blue and deep maroon combo was an excellent choice.

5. Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Mrad

A loyal fan to Lebanese designers, Chrissy Teigen stunned in a quintessential Zuhair Mrad design. The heavily beaded dress, with its feathered sleeves and spring charm, stood out in the best way possible.

6. Suki Waterhouse in Elie Saab

Suki Waterhouse’s sequined Elie Saab dress was one of the best at the Vanity Fair afterparty. The rose on the chest, the open back, and the silver sequins were adding a bold touch that the carpet needed.

7. Miranda Kerr in Elie Saab

Nothing could have suited Miranda Kerr more than this dreamy dress. We’re not sure what had us more mesmerized: the gorgeous blue dress, Miranda’s eyes, or the fact that the dress matched her eyes. All of the above.

8. Lauren Ridloff in Elie Saab

Lauren Ridloff made heads turn at the sight of her dress, and then jaws dropped when they saw the back. The silver and gold beads had Ridloff looking like a sun-kissed queen on the carpet.

9. Judith Light in Tony Ward

Of course, Emmy and Tony award winning actor and producer Judith Light had to be dressed in something that is as dazzling as she is on the big screen. This soft-toned Tony Ward gown complemented the actress perfectly.

10. Sharon Stone in Tony Ward

We hope to only ever see Sharon Stone in fabulous Tony Ward gowns. With the pastel yellow and white hem, topped off with a magnificent cape, the dress looks like it was made just for her to match her sunny aura.

11. Molly Sims in Georges Chakra

Molly Sims exuded sheer elegance in this deep green gown. Its simplistic skirt, cut-out bodice, and floor-length feathered sleeves were nothing less of perfection.

12. Heidi Klum in Georges Hobeika

This interesting pick was one of the most unique pieces that graced the carpet. Heidi Klum was hard to miss in this bold yellow feathered fit, but she deserves a dress as bold as her personality, don’t you think?
