A Concert For A Good Cause At McDonald’s This Sunday

McDonald’s is holding a series of all-day live music performances under the banner of Life Sounds Delicious at their Jounieh branch this month. Supporting Embrace‘s operations in Lebanon, these events bring together food and music in an attempt to shed light on mental health issues within the younger generations in Lebanon. On Sunday July 30th, the third of these daylong concerts takes place, with a special performance from Yamane El Hage starting 8:30 PM.

During Life Sounds Delicious, visitors can choose to support the Life Sounds Delicious cause by purchasing any meal at the store. The proceeds will go towards Embrace, to support them in their life-saving missions in Lebanon. Previous events saw electric performances from Raed Khairallah and Krystine Bejjani in support of Embrace.

Embrace operates the National Lifeline in Lebanon (1564) for Emotional Support and Suicide Prevention Hotline, in partnership with the National Mental Health Program at the Ministry of Public Health. According to their website, on average 1 person loses their life to suicide every 2.1 days, and one person attempts suicide every 6 hours in Lebanon.

Mental health remains an important issue in today’s Lebanon, and we are glad to see McDonald’s and Embrace cooperating to shed light about it. So if you’re craving some McDonald’s, or just looking to support a good cause, make sure to stop by their Jounieh branch and enjoy some great tunes with your Big Mac this Sunday.
