Massive Fire Destroys Popular Faraya Spot, Rikky’z
A huge fire erupted at Rikky’z in Faraya at around 5:10 this morning, causing Civil Defense forces to respond swiftly. The beloved restaurant, which is largely wooden, was completely destroyed as a result.

Sources reveal that preliminary investigations point towards the possibility of an electrical malfunction or a gas leak. Lebanon’s scorching temperatures and extreme heatwaves heighten the risk of fire outbreaks, emphasizing the urgency for enhanced safety measures across establishments.

Fortunately, the Civil Defense team was able to successfully control the fire, with ongoing cooling operations underway to ensure safety. Thankfully, there have been no reported casualties.
