Someone Is Leaving Rubber Ducks On Our Cars…And We Love It

An initiative in Lebanon called Felix on the Move decided that the best way to make someone’s day was to stick rubber ducks on their cars, and we couldn’t agree more.

But before we tell you about how you can join in on spreading the joy, let’s talk a little bit about the purpose behind this wonderful initiative.

Who is Felix…and why is he on the move?

Since ducks are migratory birds, people associate them with travel and exploration. This is why Felix is a yellow rubber duck (obviously, because we’re sure no one wants live ducks on their cars) and also the face of the initiative.

You might come across Felix anywhere across Lebanon, stuck to people’s car door handles with a cute smile-inducing message.

The purpose is to show that even the smallest gestures can make someone’s day, whether it be giving them a compliment, smiling at them on the street, or anonymously putting a yellow rubber duck on their car.

How can you #jointhehappypond?

It’s actually very easy! One rubber duck will only cost you $1, which will contribute to making two people happy. For every Felix you purchase, the team will place yellow rubber ducks on two random cars in the city. Not only will it make someone’s day but Felix will also get the chance to journey with that lucky person and keep them company during car rides.

If you ever spot Felix, take a picture and tag their Instagram to become part of their happiness movement.
