There’s A $150 Burger In Lebanon…WTF?

We might’ve gotten used to the insane prices in Lebanon, but who TF would have thought that we’d find a $150 burger?

For those who don’t know, Hostile Kitchen is a restaurant in El Mrouj that specializes in meat dishes, including steaks and burgers.

We just can’t wrap our heads around the fact that the burger is priced at $150. Apparently, it’s because of the pricey ingredients, but we still don’t understand why someone would pay that much money for a burger.

And we can’t help but wonder: “bi2awes?”

The F3 Fullblood Wagyu is not available on the menu, so it’s only made upon request. It’s made with MB9 Wagyu, which is an expensive and premium cut of meat. It’s also topped with a spoonful of Beluga caviar to boot. We didn’t fork over $150 just to taste this burger (otherwise our Lebanese moms would have killed us by now), but we’re glad that food bloggers stepped in and took the plunge for all of us.

Of course, this spot doesn’t only make insanely priced burgers. You can always order something at a more reasonable price. Their menu contains items priced anywhere between $10 to $30 depending on the meat. You can browse their menu via this link.

Min shu bteshke the good old homemade Lebanese burger?

If you want to give their burgers a try, then you can reach out to them on 76 100 115. And if you ever decide to splurge on their $150 burger…well…good luck, Charlie.
