Meet Janoub: The Kitten Who Followed a Family from Aita El Shaab to Saida

Journalist Najiya Dahshi recently shared the touching story of an adorable kitten named Janoub, and we felt it was worth sharing with you to brighten up your day during these challenging times.

As violent raids continue across Lebanese territories, many families have been tragically forced to evacuate their homes. One such family, displaced from Aita El-Shaab, shared their heartfelt experience of adopting a stray kitten during their journey. They traveled through Bourj Al-Shamal and Ghazieh before finally finding refuge in Saida.

The youngest member of the family took it upon themselves to name the kitten ‘Janoub’. And their close relationship will make you smile. The kitten has undoubtedly become a source of joy for the family.
