According to The National News, Lohan was spotted dining at Piazza1140, a beloved Italian gem in the heart of Hammana’s souk, back in July 2021. But why was she even in Lebanon?

Bader Shammas: Lohan’s Then-Boyfriend, Now Husband

It wasn’t until November 2021 that Lohan announced her engagement to Bader Shammas, a Dubai-based financier with a Kuwaiti father and Lebanese mother, whom she had been quietly dating for several years.

It seems the couple was touring his mother’s home country only a few months before he popped the big question.

Shammas built a solid career in finance, climbing the ranks in the banking world. At Credit Suisse, he held the role of Assistant Vice President. Before joining Credit Suisse, he worked as an associate at BNP Paribas Wealth Management.

The pair got married in April 2022, then welcomed their first child in March 2023.
