All the Way from Ohio: Aladdin’s Just Landed in Lebanon!

Big news for food lovers—beloved Ohio spot Aladdin’s Eatery is coming to Lebanon! The popular US-based chain is opening its first location in the country, bringing its signature flavors with it.

This marks a full-circle moment. Founder Fady Chamoun moved from Lebanon to the US in 1972 to attend the University of Michigan. He dreamed of opening a restaurant that served fresh, healthy Lebanese food. That dream came true in 1994, when he and his wife Sally opened the first Aladdin’s Eatery in Lakewood, Ohio.

Now, over 30 years later, Aladdin’s has returned to its roots—with a brand-new location in Dbayeh.

Based on their menu, it looks like Lebanon’s branch will feature an expanded menu with more elevated, bistro-style dishes compared to the original Ohio locations.

While the original focuses on wraps, bowls, and casual mezze, the Lebanon branch leans into composed plates, specialty salads, and more intricate flavor pairings—like labneh with zaatar pesto or goat cheese with strawberries.

That being said, Lebanon’s branch is a bit pricier than the Ohio eatery. Make sure to check out their Instagram for a closer look at their menu.
