The Beirut Arab Int’l Book Fair Returns for Its 66th Edition!

After over a year of waiting, one of the region’s most beloved literary events is finally making its comeback! The Beirut Arab International Book Fair returns for it’s 66th edition, bringing a welcome dose of culture, conversation, and community back to the capital.

Originally scheduled for December 2024, the fair was postponed to May 15–24, 2025. It will be taking place at the Beirut Seaside Arena.

The opening ceremony, taking place on Thursday, May 15 at 4 PM, will feature speeches from Arab Cultural Club President Salwa El Sanioura Baassiri and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. Hosted by renowned media personality Mr. Zaven Kouyoumjian, the event will conclude with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a tour of the exhibition.

The book fair will be open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM, offering a wide range of stands and exhibitions for every book lover. Explore countless shelves, find your next read, and connect with a vibrant community of fellow bookworms.
