This 12-Year-Old Is Lebanon’s Youngest Drifting Prodigy!

Most 12-year-olds are busy with video games, but Christopher Khoury prefers burning rubber on the track.

Christopher is a 12-year-old Lebanese boy with a unique and inspiring passion for drifting. He’s been obsessed with cars since he was a toddler and started drifting at just 10. Here’s everything you should know about this young talent!

A Natural Talent Unveiled

His drifting journey started by accident. Two years ago, his dad booked a drifting session and brought Christopher along to watch. Midway through, his father found the car tough to handle and jokingly asked if Christopher wanted to give it a shot. To everyone’s surprise, he hopped in and drifted with ease, despite never having driven a manual car before.

Training with the Best

It quickly became clear that this wasn’t a one-time fluke. Shortly after, Christopher joined the Drift King Academy, training under Oliver El Kik, aka the Middle East’s King of Drift with over 30 podium finishes. He started with practice cars before moving on to his own custom-built BMW E46 made for drifting.

Sharing His Passion

Christopher’s family created an Instagram account (@kiko.drifts) to share his progress. His videos racked up thousands of views, with people around the world impressed by his control and confidence behind the wheel.

Overcoming Challenges

Not everyone was thrilled. Some questioned whether drifting was appropriate for someone so young. But his parents and coaches stress that he only practices in safe, controlled environments with full supervision.

Achievements and Recognition

Recently, Christopher, who also happens to be a student at Broumana High School, won the “Golden Boy” medal at the Rovelution Cadets & Minors Competition, taking first place among the region’s most promising young drifters.

A Bright Future Ahead

With a solid support system, professional training, and undeniable talent, Christopher is well on his way to becoming a standout in the world of motorsports!
