Frieten: Beirut’s Newest Belgian Fries Spot

Finally, a new place for the fries lovers. Frieten is the newest Beirut spot for all things Belgian fries, and we’re already obsessed.

What You Need to Know About Frieten in Beirut

This business has been deep frying bites since 2016, but they only recently opened a spot in Mar Mikhael, right across from The Wooden Cellar.

You can order a cone of fries, imported all the way from Belgium and fried to perfection, with your choice of dipping sauce. They’ve got quite the list of options for you to choose from, including chipotle, aioli, and currywurst.

But they don’t ONLY specialize in Belgian fries. You can stop by for a burger, sausage, or even chicken strips to go with your fries cone.

What Are the Prices Like?

Fries with your choice of sauce = $6

Extra sauce is an additional $0.5.

Sausages served in a bun with your choice of sauce = $7

Hamburgers = $7

Cheeseburgers = $8

Their sides are also $6-7. Overall, pretty affordable!
