Uncle Fluffy Is Opening in Gemmayze (With Free Tasting All Day!)

Uncle Fluffy, the bakery that went viral for its soft, jiggly Japanese-style cheesecakes, is opening a new branch in Gemmayze!

Expected to open on Rue Gouraud near Korean hotdog joint Kogowa, the viral bakery is expanding its presence in one of Beirut’s most vibrant neighborhoods. With Gemmayze’s constant foot traffic and love for buzzy food spots, Uncle Fluffy’s new location is bound to draw in crowds.

The grand opening is happening on Wednesday, June 25, and you’ll be able to chow down on delicious samples (for FREE) from 3 PM until 11 PM. That’s eight full hours of fresh-out-of-the-oven cheesecakes.

The Dubai-based startup opened its first kiosk back in 2017 and has since expanded to over 140 locations globally. Its explosive growth around the world is all thanks to a simple Japanese cheesecake recipe: light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweet.

With a texture that’s somewhere between a sponge cake and a soufflé, Uncle Fluffy’s signature dessert became an instant hit.
