Ferry rides between Lebanon and Cyprus are finally launching, with weekly trips between Jounieh and Larnaca starting July 23. Here’s what to know about the prices.

This new passenger ferry route is operated by a private company in coordination with Lebanese maritime authorities, following months of planning and final approvals from customs and security.

The sea journey takes about 4 to 5 hours, offering a slower, scenic alternative to flying that’s perfect for anyone craving a classic Mediterranean crossing experience.

While this ferry service will operate between Jounieh and Larnaca, there have been discussions about potential future routes connecting other Lebanese ports like Beirut and Tripoli with Cypriot ports such as Limassol and Larnaca. However, these additional routes have not been officially confirmed or launched.

Trips on the Jounieh–Larnaca route are expected to run weekly. The official sailing schedule has not been finalized.

Expect to pay $250 for economy and $350 for business class.
