WeMac: Lebanon’s Newest McDonald’s Dupe

Another local burger joint is giving McDonald’s a run for its money. After we got Meat Way earlier this year, now there’s WeMac, a new spot in Lebanon serving McDonald’s-style meals at affordable prices.

This fast food joint in Hadath, right near Karout Mall, is Lebanon’s latest answer to the golden arches, serving up double cheeseburgers, crispy chicken sandwiches, and nugget boxes with bold yellow branding that feels all too familiar.

Reviewers are already saying it tastes surprisingly close to the original. And while the red-and-yellow branding might give you déjà vu, a small cedar tree on the packaging is a subtle reminder that this one’s made in Lebanon.

What About the Prices?

WeMac’s Duo Mix Deluxe, Duo Chicken Deluxe, and Duo Beef Deluxe combos each come with two burgers, fries, and a drink, priced at 600,000 LL, similar to what you’d find on the McDonald’s app.

The price point doesn’t differ, but it looks like WeMac’s portion size is only slightly bigger. It’s a solid option if you’re looking to support local businesses or are actively boycotting international brands, without having to give up your fast food cravings.
