The Comeback of Rod’s Burger, Lebanon’s Legendary Burger Spot

Who remembers the iconic Gemmayze spot that was behind the mouthwatering 20cm burger? Rod’s Burger, once known for serving 45 different kinds of burgers, has returned and is now bringing its street-level charm and burger wizardry to the heart of Dbayeh.

Here’s everything you need to know about Rod’s Burger and their comeback!

After shutting down their original Gemmayze location following the devastating August 4 blast, Rod’s is officially back in action. They have reopened at Terminal Dbayeh, one of Lebanon’s favorite food destinations with plenty of variety to explore.

Rod’s built their name on juicy, messy, unforgettable burgers. Their chef was even known to scold anyone who wiped their mouth after every bite, insisting the only way to enjoy a Rod’s burger was to let go and clean up later.

What really put them on the map, though, was their record-breaking creation: the biggest burger in Lebanon, which was 75cm. To this day, no other spot has managed to beat that record. Could you imagine finishing it on your own?

Their legacy continues with their American diner-style truck at Terminal Dbayeh, where the classics are making a comeback.

One of the must-try favorites is the Relisha Burger, loaded with cheese, bacon, onions, cajun sauce, and sweet relish. Other standouts include the Mexican Cajun and the Backaboard. As one of the original burger joints in Beirut, Rod’s helped pave the way for many of the spots we know today.

Whether you are a long-time fan craving a familiar bite or simply curious to try something new, you can now find them at Terminal Dbayeh. Click here for the exact location and make sure to follow them on Instagram for more.
