Lebanese Chef Abir El Saghir Teams Up With Spacetoon for New Animated Series

Lebanese chef and content creator Abir El Saghir is teaming up with our childhood channel Spacetoon for an upcoming animated series.

“Abir wal Saghir” will bring her culinary skills and storytelling to life, blending cooking with animated adventures. A first for Arab audiences!

The channel shared the first poster on Instagram, featuring Abir as a cartoon character. She’s joined by a small cat, who will likely accompany her on imaginative and fun adventures.

The caption captured the spirit perfectly: “From the warmth of her cozy kitchen to the wonders of the world of animation!”

What’s the Story?

The show will span 10 episodes, bringing a vibrant, colorful kingdom to life for children aged 6–12. It premieres in the third quarter of 2025.

In the series, Abir embarks on a touching journey to help a young prince with special needs overcome depression. With her extraordinary strength and kindness, Abir guides him through challenges, helping him rediscover hope step by step.

Spacetoon says the show aims to inspire children, boost self-confidence, and highlight the importance of food, teamwork, and emotional support in building strong relationships.

Abir shared her excitement on Instagram: “I tell little Abir, who grew up watching Spacetoon, that today she is a heroine on those screens.”

To Abir, becoming a cartoon character turned her childhood dream into reality. And it’s even sweeter knowing that thousands of fans have always compared her style and vibe to Disney princesses.

The channel hasn’t confirmed whether Abir will voice the animated character herself. Fans are loving the collaboration, excited to see Abir’s personality brought to life in a show that’s meaningful.

Spacetoon and Abir’s collaboration is a proud moment for Lebanese creatives. We love watching homegrown talent create content that resonates with children while giving them stories they can relate to!
