Le Gray Beirut Reopening with Redesigned Spaces and Michelin-Starred Chef

Le Gray Beirut, one of the city’s most iconic hotels is reopening its doors in the heart of Downtown this coming November. The hotel, known for its combination of luxury, culture, and design, returns with 104 redesigned rooms and suites under the direction of Lebanese architect Galal Mahmoud, who aimed to blend contemporary sophistication with Beirut’s character.

The reopening also marks the return of Michelin-starred Chef Alan Geaam, Lebanon’s only chef with this distinction, who comes back after 27 years in France. Chef Geaam plans to focus on Lebanese culinary heritage while developing local talent.

Le Gray has long been recognized not just for its service and design, but also for its art collection, featuring over 600 curated works from around the world. Its location in Downtown Beirut has made it a notable venue for events, rooftop cocktails, dinners, and gatherings.

Charles Akl, General Manager of Le Gray Beirut, says the reopening represents a continuation of the hotel’s role in the city. The hotel is ready to welcome guests with its mix of architecture, art, and gastronomy.
