Everything We Tried (And Loved) at The JaJa in Beirut

Beirut foodies, if you’re looking for something new and delicious to try in Beirut, then we have just the thing for you. The JaJa, an adorable sandwich joint in Beirut, just dropped a new menu that we obviously had to try.

Located on Hamra’s main street facing Bana Café, this spot is perfect for when you’re in the mood for an exceptional chicken sandwich. Here’s everything we tried and loved!

Our favorites from the new menu

While chicken sandwiches are a dime a dozen, The JaJa offers something different.Their menu has perfected Lebanese comfort food, so here’s what we recommend trying.

You can try the Mexican Chicken with spicy mayo and cheese, the Djej w Toum with garlic cream and pickles, the Fajita with fresh veggies and avocado, or the Chinese Chicken with ginger and Chinese sauce for a flavorful twist.

If you’re a sawda lover, the sawda sandwich is their take on a local favorite, with garlic paste, tomato, and fresh mint. You can also build your own sandwich with special sauces like pesto, curry, or wasabi.

You can also opt for one of their mouthwatering burgers and chicken platters with a side of fries and mozzarella sticks if you’re not in the mood for a sandwich. Like their fried chicken burger or crunchy chicken breasts, served with perfectly seasoned wedges.

What about the prices?

Most of their sandwiches range between 350,000 to 500,000 LL, so they’re super affordable! For an even sweeter deal, grab their combo: 2 sandwiches with fries and a drink for just 650,000 LL.
