So many people don't know about the public parks outside of Beirut, so let's put this public park in Jounieh on your radar.
Located right next to the Madison Hotel, Jounieh Public Park is a free, green escape where you can stroll, relax, and spend the day with your family.

There are plenty of comfy spots to sit, spread out across the park. Wide, well-kept paths make it perfect for a morning walk, a light jog, or an afternoon hangout with family.
The park has trees, flowers, and green spaces in all shapes and colors. But it’s not just greenery—there are little touches that make it special: an old stone well, ancient olive trees with a calm natural scent, and even a small rustic windmill. Every corner has its own charm.
There’s also a safe playground for kids, a small box filled with books, and exercise machines for all ages. The park feels peaceful and has sea views, with plenty of spots to sit under trees or on the grass.
Bonus: you can spot the cable cars from Teleferique du Liban passing right above you.

Here are the park rules to keep things safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone:
- No pets, bikes, outside food or drinks, or smoking
- Don’t pick plants or flowers
- Keep the park clean

Opening hours: 8 AM until 6 or 7 PM. Early morning or late afternoon visits are perfect for enjoying the weather and the view before sunset.
In short, Jounieh Public Park is a small, charming green space where you can relax, get active, and escape the city for a bit. Especially if you're a group of friends looking for a chill spot, or you're a family with young kids who love playing in open spaces.
