If you’re familiar with K-dramas and culture, you’ve probably been jealous of the Korean convenience store experience at some point in your life. Luckily for you, a Korean convenience store is opening in Lebanon soon!
From the same people behind Nom Nom Chickin, Komemart is set to open soon, bringing Lebanon its very first Asian-style market filled with authentic snacks, drinks, and everyday essentials.
Here’s every reason why Asian convenience stores are superior to regular supermarkets (especially if you’re into the culture).
1. Authentic Korean snacks and drinks
From spicy ramyeon and cheesy tteokbokki to banana milk and unique sodas, this store brings the flavors of Korea straight to Lebanon.
2. Ready-to-eat meals
Grab kimbap, rice bowls, and Korean-style lunch boxes for a quick, delicious bite. Korean convenience stores are known for having their quick, ready-to-eat bites that you can prepare and eat at the store.
3. K-beauty and lifestyle items
Beyond food, these stores carry sheet masks, skincare, cute stationery, and small household items popular in Korea.
4. Seasonal and limited-edition finds
Exclusive snacks and drinks tied to K-pop, holidays, or special Korean collaborations. Items you won’t find anywhere else in Lebanon.
There’s no set opening date, but we’re excited to see what’s in store at this new spot! Make sure to follow them on TikTok for updates. It’s located next to Nom Nom Chickin and Pinoy Supermarket in Jal El Dib.
