Remember This Iconic Beirut Van? Now It’s a Souk!

You’ve probably seen the iconic Hezzik Mezzik van cruising through Beirut’s streets, a colorful mobile convenience store that sells fresh fruits and veggies while blasting music.

The van finally found its own space, turning into a souk with fresh produce, eco-friendly goodies, and a community vibe.

The Story Behind Hezzik Mezzik

Hezzik Mezzik began as a mobile fruit and vegetable stand, roaming Beirut’s streets and bringing produce directly to the people.

Veronica Nemer launched the project in hopes of honoring Lebanese culture, selling earth-friendly products, and promoting mindful living.

Now in its new home, you’ll find heirloom seeds, potted plants, artisanal pantry staples, handmade candles, accessories, and other locally made goodies. All curated to celebrate Lebanese creativity and sustainable living!

It’s the perfect mix of nostalgia and novelty. People remember the van rolling through the streets, and now they get to step inside a full‑on space that feels like a community hub.

The vibe is colorful, welcoming, and full of personality. Just like the van we all know and love.
