Beirut Police Are Patrolling the Streets on Horseback Again

Beirut’s streets are seeing a classic sight once again. Mounted police patrols have returned to Beirut as part of community policing efforts. The Internal Security Forces’ horseback unit aims to maintain public safety.

The ISF announced the patrols on X (formerly known as Twitter) with a series of photos showing the horses in action. People are loving the mounted patrols, especially because the horses look so cute geared up:

The horseback unit is part of the ISF’s Mobile Forces and is deployed in areas where visibility and engagement matter most. What do you think about Beirut police doing horseback patrols?
