The Viral Japanese Cream Sandwiches Just Landed in Beirut!

Have you seen the viral Japanese fried cream sandwiches? If not, we’re about to put you on to one of the most delicious-looking desserts we’ve ever seen. Sorry in advance for the hunger we’re about to cause.

It’s basically deep-fried Japanese milk bread (also called shokupan), stuffed generously with whipped cream with toppings like strawberries or crème brûlee. The hot crispy bread and extra sweet ice cream gives every dessert lover the best of both worlds.

Where can you eat this in Beirut?

At Magnifico in Dahye! Chef Alawiya decided to hop on the trend and bring this delicious treat to Beirut. He’s currently offering three different flavors for you to choose from:

  • If you love fruits: their blueberry or strawberry cheesecake
  • If you want something light: apple and cinnamon
  • If you want something extra sweet: crème brûlee or chocolate

The crème brûlee is the most requested, so if you’re trying it for the first time, you can go for this flavor!

It’s available from 7 PM until 11 PM (or until they sell out), so make sure to swing by before they’re all gone.

Next to Daouk Sweets on Hadi Nasrallah Boulevard, Dahye of Beirut.
