It’s a great day to be a lahm baajin lover. A new spot called Ovi Ajeen Boutique recently opened in Gemmayze, celebrating the rich culinary heritage of lahm baajin while introducing bold new flavors.
More than your average flatbread, their iterations of the Middle Eastern classic push the boundaries of flavor while simultaneously celebrating tradition.
On their menu, you’ll find specialties like truffle and parmesan, Mexican-style topped off with jalapeños, and buttery wagyu, among others.
They also serve vegan options (a first for lahm baajin spots). Try the Vegan Mushroom, topped with veggies and a touch of cinnamon, or the Vegan Tofu, with tomato, onion, veggies, and crumbled tofu.
And lahm baajin is never complete without laban. They offer regular laban and lactose-free laban sourced from farms in Hrajel, with refreshing flavors like green olive or mint. You can also choose between regular, whole wheat, or high fiber dough, giving the traditional flatbread quite the refresh.
Every creation is crafted by Chef Shadi, whose 20 years of experience shine through in the crispy crusts and balanced flavors.
