Lebanese-Armenian singer Jean Sarkissian just delivered a standout performance on The Voice van Vlaanderen, earning a coveted four-chair turn from all of the judges.
Sarkissian, who was born in Lebanon to an Armenian family that later moved to Belgium, took the stage during the blind auditions with a stirring rendition of “Desert Rose” by Sting and Cheb Mami that left the judges visibly impressed and reaching for their buzzers.
Not only did they hit their buzzers without hesitation, one judge, Belgian singer Laura Tesoro, got goosebumps listening to Sarkissian’s jaw-dropping vocals.
The clip has since gone viral, circulating across social media platforms as fans celebrate his powerful performance and rare four-chair turn. Social media reactions continue to rack up views, turning the audition into one of the season’s most talked-about moments so far.
