How You Can Help This Jnoubi Chef Prepare 600+ Daily Meals for the Displaced
Jnoubi chef Husen Fayad launched an initiative to support the displaced by doing what he does best: cooking dishes that taste like home. With over 3 million followers on Instagram, he’s using his platform to raise funds and prepare daily meals for families in need.
With more than 1.2 million people displaced in Lebanon, many initiatives are struggling to keep up with the demand for daily meals as shelters across the country reach capacity.
Husen is dedicating his time to ensuring that the meals reaching the displaced are both filling and nutritious, focusing on dishes we usually prepare at home with our families and offering a small sense of comfort and normalcy during difficult times.
Now preparing over 600 meals per day, the initiative is working to keep up with growing demand as more families rely on these daily dishes for support.
