Despite everything going on, we are always happy to see local businesses stepping in and supporting the displaced in any way they can. This Saturday, beloved Beirut coffee shop Levant will be hosting a “Solidarity Day” at their Brazzaville location in Jisr El Wati. Here’s how you can join and contribute to relief efforts.
Levant is teaming up with local brands for their fundraising pop-up, giving you the chance to shop for a cause. Some of the brands involved include Shams, WhyNatt, been there done that, and Takasis, along with many others showcasing unique creations.
And if you’re done shopping, you can join one of the workshops taking place. The schedule includes embroidery on photography, a children’s creative space, and sessions on nervous system response and emotional regulation tools. Perfect for learning something new while supporting relief efforts for the displaced.
All the proceeds from the fundraise pop-up and workshops will go directly to supporting displaced families. They’re also setting up a collection bin for you to donate clothes, toys, kitchenware, or other essentials.
Can’t do any of that but still want to support “Solidarity Day” at Levant? Make sure to spread the word! Check out the #Support Lebanon section on our website for more content like this.
