Beaver Edu: The First Lebanese and Arab Toy to Win “Best Toy of the Year”

We love starting our Mondays with good news, so let’s tell you about this Lebanese startup just made history.

Lebanese startup Beaver Edu became the first Lebanese and Arab toy brand to win a ToyAward at the famous Spielwarenmesse fair in Germany, one of the biggest events in the international toy industry. The startup took home the award in the Startup Category, putting a Lebanese-made educational toy in the spotlight worldwide.

So, what exactly is Beaver Edu?

Instead of traditional building blocks with fixed shapes and sizes, Beaver Edu gives kids the freedom to build things their own way. The concept revolves around a specially designed cutter that safely allows children to cut wooden bars into different lengths before assembling them into endless creations.

The idea is simple but smart. Kids are not limited to pre-made pieces or specific instructions. They get to experiment, design, test ideas, and create freely. And while it’s creative, safety remains a huge part of the design, making it suitable for hands-on learning environments.

What also makes Beaver Edu stand out is that it goes beyond being just a toy. The platform is paired with an educational curriculum that helps schools introduce more interactive and practical learning experiences in the classroom.

Instead of memorizing concepts from books, students get to apply them through building, problem-solving, and experimentation.

Big congratulations to the Beaver Edu team on this huge milestone! Make sure to follow them on Instagram to stay updated on their journey.
