If you ever wondered where all these vintage-wearing cool kids in Beirut are getting their stuff, we will not be gatekeeping. Though you can arguably find some of the best and cheapest finds in Souk El Ahad and Tripoli’s old souks, here are some notable spots in Beirut that we’re sure every vintage lover has shopped from.
1. BYV. Vintage Boutique, Badaro
You’ll find the most gorgeous collection of earrings, necklaces, bangles, and brooches at this boutique. The owner, who curates them herself, will tell you the story behind each one. How cool is it to own a piece dating back to the 1940s that she found in Spain?
2. Grandma Vintage, Mar Mikhael
For the effortlessly chic cool kids who love patterns and colors, this spot is packed with playful vintage pieces that instantly make any outfit look more interesting. And they’re definitely grandma-approved.
3. GarageLuxe, Achrafieh
A label-laden secondhand shop in Achrafieh that’s passionate about adding statement pieces and pops of color to your collection. Bold prints, vintage gems, and eye-catching bags, shoes, and more.
4. Nouvelle Vague, Gemmayze
Those who prefer getting their hands on more luxury finds, Nouvelle Vague has a marvelous collection that includes timeless Chanel, Thierry Mugler, and Valentino pieces.
5. The Antique Cellar, Jdeideh
Another wonderful spot for hardcore collectors. They have the most stunning brooches, vintage watches, and sunglasses that could easily become your favorite statement piece or accessory.
6. Hamra Vintage, Hamra
The iconic Hamra spot that we all know and love! We can’t NOT include it in this list because of just how unique their finds are. The shop owner travels around Europe, specifically France and Germany, to find the coolest vintage items.
If you want something that will 100% be uniquely yours, Vintage Magic curates and reimagines vintage pieces to fit an aesthetic not suitable for fast fashion. So many of her creations are vintage pieces sewn together.
8. Restyle
For those who love the Y2K aesthetic, you’ll find fur coats, low-rise finds, tiny bags, and nostalgic pieces straight out of a 2000s Pinterest board. And their collection of sunnies is to die for.
This place is actually located in Sarba, but since they also have a website, we’re cheating and putting them under this section because their items are just that good.
10. Kulloo Apparel
A Y2K and vintage spot that deserves a place on every thrift lover’s radar. You’ll find things that are effortlessly stylish without looking overly curated, from vintage denim and graphic tees to fun accessories that pull an outfit together.
