If you’re still planning your summer outings, Souk El Akel is heading to Faraya for four days of food, local finds, fun games, and mountain views. And it’s going to be the biggest Souk El Akel weekend to date!
From July 23 to 26, 2026, the Faqra Highway will transform into a lively open-air festival.
Every day from 5 PM until midnight, visitors can explore more than 50 food stalls and over 90 participants, including restaurants, dessert vendors, drink stands, local artisans, and Lebanese producers.
Food is the main attraction, with something for every craving. Expect everything from burgers and grilled favorites to Lebanese specialties, desserts, ice cream, and refreshing summer drinks.
The event also has plenty to keep everyone entertained. Kids can enjoy a dedicated play area, while adults can revisit childhood with classic games like tug of war, hide and seek, musical chairs, limbo, and exciting challenges. Games that will take us back to the old day3a days when we used to play with the neighborhood kids.
And if you’d like to support local, you’ll find a wide range of Lebanese artisans and producers, with handicrafts, gifts, and unique products that make the outing more enjoyable, all while bringing together food and shopping in one place.
Set against Faqra’s cool mountain weather, the event is the perfect excuse to escape the city and spend a summer evening outdoors with your friends and family. Make sure you come hungry!
