Did You Know About This Hidden Thrift Shop in Beirut?

Thrift shops are actually quite hard to come by when you’re not shopping directly from the source (e.g., Souk El Ahad and Tripoli’s old souks). Some people are just so talented at spotting valuable stuff, so you might as well find thrift shops that match your vibe to shop from.

While strolling through random streets in Beirut, we actually came across Front Yard Clothing, a small thrift shop in Rmeil, only a 2-minute walk from Kalei Coffee. It’s easy to walk straight past it, but it’s one of Beirut’s most beloved thrift shops because of its high quality picks and cool vintage wear.

What to expect

It’s not always open, but when you reach out to them via Instagram or WhatsApp, they’re available to open up for you to browse because they’re usually nearby.

Founded by Razan, the collection includes anything and everything. You can find cool collectibles to decorate your space or shop for vintage jewelry, shirts, pants, jackets, and bags. And they’re all in excellent condition!

Their items are pretty affordable, ranging from as little as $3 to about $50, depending on how valuable the vintage item is.

However, you could easily buy quite a few things and stay within your budget. We got our hands on a crossbody bag, a real leather belt, three pairs of socks, a silver pendant with authentic stones, and two huge posters for approximately $65. All brand new and in perfect condition.

The owner actually copped something really cool from their own collection, so Razan, if you’re reading this, we desperately want that brown leather bag…or find us something similar so we can buy it.

Make sure to check out their Instagram for a look at their collection. If you want to stop by, make sure to reach out to see if they’re available to open up for you. For the exact location, click here.
